The photo component of my kit
Lowepro pro trekker 300 AW - the bag that will hold it all or at least it will hold most and the rest (less-prone-to-breakage stuff) will end up in the checked in baggage. It is a fine backpack.
Canon 7D - great for photos as well as excellent 1080p video
Canon PowerShot S100 Digital Camera - great little point and shoot
Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 AT-X - Great wide angle lens for landscape photos
